  • TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage the bank account, accounting, expense tracking, and reimbursements

    • Create and manage the season budget with leadership; optimize spending

    • Lead sponsorships: prospect, pitch, negotiate, and fulfill packages

    • Nurture multi-season sponsor relationships

    • Seek new revenue sources and apply for grants for youth/Muslim organizations

    • Plan and run MIST NJ’s annual fundraising gala

    YEARLY TIMELINE:

    • Fall: Finalize season budget, start sponsorship outreach, begin grant work, plan the gala

    • Winter–Early Spring: Track tournament expenses, steward sponsors, ensure package fulfillment

    • Post-Tournament: Reconcile accounts, complete reimbursements, deliver financial summary, pursue sponsor renewals, document budget improvements
